Wattle

What a fantastic term it has been in Wattle. Our students have worked hard, embraced new challenges and celebrated many successes along the way. We are also excited for the opening of our new playground, which will provide wonderful opportunities for play, exploration and connection. 

This term, students explored counting, addition, subtraction, shape and pattern in Mathematics, while continuing to build their reading, writing and phonics skills in English. Students also developed their personal and social skills through learning and demonstrating our school values each day. 

Students enjoyed celebrating Mother's Day and Special Persons Day, participated in hockey and soccer programs, and loved the interactive Paper Planet incursion. We are excited for swimming in Term 3, with forms coming home soon. 

As we wrap up another successful term, we would like to thank our families for their ongoing support and partnership. We wish everyone a safe and restful break and look forward to welcoming students back for another exciting term of learning, growth and new experiences in Wattle Learning Place.
