WHAT WE LEARNED
Integrated Unit - Our Earth in Space
We developed lessons around familiar objects and events for students to actively engage and explore within. Students were asked to identify familiar environmens and people they were aware of around them. It has been delightful to see sstudents bringing in family photos to share with their classrooms, exploring the school to further destinations that previously, such as the oval.
Term 2 Events
We really enjoyed having our mums come in for a special Mother’s Day breakfast this term and look forward to seeing our dad attend for Afternoon Tea for Father’s Day next term. We had lots of fun participating in the Paper Planet incursion in the stadium and particpated in the National Simultaneous Storytime as a learning place, where each class read together the storybook “Luna Roo, the Kangaroo”
Reminders
Please make sure students belonging are clearly labelled with their name. This includes drink bottles, food containers and lunchboxes, and all uniform and clothing items. This makes our job much easier when items go missing.
