Mt A Marvel

Hats off to Mollie (Year 11) for venturing to Sydney during the school holidays as part of the Australian Indigenous Engineering School. Mollie's trip included visits to the Google Sydney office, Engineering and Architecture firms, Kirribilli House, West Sydney Airport, a Harbour Bridge Climb, and much more!

In a pool of 24 talented students, Mollie emerged victorious, securing the prestigious RJL (Bob) Hawke Capacity for Leadership Award, presented by none other than the Governor General. Adding to her triumph, Sydney Uni extended a scholarship offer for 2026, and several engineering companies have opened their doors with internship opportunities.

But that's not all! Mollie also proudly represented Queensland in the National Indigenous Netball Championships during the break. What a phenomenal kickstart to the year for Mollie – congratulations on the well-deserved success! 🌟🏅
