Principal's Report

A Message from Julie..

It’s hard to believe we’re already halfway through Term 3! The energy around the school is buzzing as preparations for our school concert ramp up. With the support of Footsteps, students have been practicing with great enthusiasm and creativity. We can’t wait to share what promises to be a fantastic evening of entertainment with our families and friends.

Recently, I had the privilege of attending the Australian Catholic Education Conference in Cairns, alongside a group of MACS principals. The theme, "Hope, Anchored in Faith," focused on the strategic vision and mission of Catholic education across three key areas: Faith, Excellence, and Access. It was an inspiring few days that reaffirmed the vital role our schools play in shaping the hearts and minds of our students.

Looking ahead, the upcoming school holidays will see the final stage of building works completed. This includes the installation of additional walls to fully divide classroom spaces in both the Purple and Blue Villages—a much-anticipated improvement that will enhance learning environments for students and staff alike.

A heartfelt congratulations to our Year 6 students who recently celebrated the Sacrament of Confirmation. This is such a special milestone in their faith journey, and we are so proud of each of them.

Finally, a huge thank you to our school community for your amazing support of Book Week! The costumes were absolutely fabulous, and it was wonderful to see so many families join us for our Open Morning. These moments truly highlight the strength and spirit of our community.

Warm regards,

Julie McDougall
