VM TABLE TENNIS TOURNAMENT 2024

During term 3, our Personal Development project group decided to plan and implement a VM table tennis tournament as a way to build relationships amongst the classes. It started by asking the Year 11 and 12 students if they would like to volunteer to participate. 

15 players entered into the round robin tournament and from there, we created a 5-week round robin, with a knockout final system for the top 8 players. It was great to be to access the outside table tennis table to use along the way. 

Throughout this project we had the opportunity to learn how to organise an event, which included setting a draw and fixtures, recording results, managing equipment and awarding certificates. Thanks to everyone in VM who played a part.
