What a great term of learning we’ve had so far!

A big focus for learning this term has been on reinforcing students’ knowledge, understanding and use of general Woiwurrung instructional language words and phrases being used in the classroom. I am now teaching and sharing this with other staff members and encouraging the students to use their language skills to help their class teachers learn Woiwurrung as well. This will assist all of us to strengthen our learning of Woiwurrung and broaden the use of this wonderful language across the school.

Students have continued to practise and develop their fluency with basic introductory statements. Watch and listen to some students from Classes 2B, 2S, 34B, 34C & 56C and 2B as they practise their introductions:
