Bunnings BBQ

Throughout the month of May, our Friday sausage sizzle BBQs were about much more than a tasty lunch – they became a powerful opportunity for our students to grow in confidence, teamwork, and community involvement. Week after week, students volunteered their time to set up, cook, serve, handle money, and greet customers, turning the BBQ area into a vibrant hub of service and learning.
This Month, the sausage sizzles proudly supported the Cancer Council’s “Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea” initiative, which raises vital funds for cancer research, prevention programs and support services for individuals and families affected by cancer. In just three weeks, our students helped raise a remarkable total of over $1,500, a significant contribution towards life‑saving research, patient support, and related services.
We are incredibly proud of our students for their dedication to this worthy cause. Their willingness to show up, work as a team, and serve our school community with enthusiasm reflects the values we strive to foster every day. We warmly commend all students who participated for their outstanding efforts and thank our staff, families, and wider community for their generous support in helping make a real difference.
