Hello to the Carnegie Primary School community.

My name is Charlotte Muir, and I am delighted to be joining the Carnegie Primary School Wellbeing Team during Terms 3 and 4 as I undertake my first counselling placement. I am currently completing the final stage of my Bachelor of Counselling and Psychology at The Cairnmillar Institute and will be at CPS each Tuesday and Wednesday.

Working with children has always been a passion of mine. Alongside my studies, I continue to work as an early childhood educator, where I have spent several years supporting children's learning, development, and emotional growth. Every child is unique, and I believe they deserve to feel safe, valued, and encouraged to grow into the best version of themselves.

Throughout my placement, I look forward to getting to know the students, staff, and families who make up the Carnegie community. You may see me around the school in classrooms, during lunchtime activities, or working alongside the Wellbeing Team. Where appropriate and with parent or carer consent, I may also be involved in providing short-term individual or small-group counselling.

I am excited to become part of the school community over the coming months, and if you see me around the school, please feel free to say hello.
