CPS Acknowledgement System

Our CPS Acknowledgement System continues to have a positive impact across the school, with staff actively recognising students who demonstrate our school values of Respect, Resilience, Curiosity and Integrity.
Now five weeks into the program, it has been wonderful to see the system becoming embedded across the school, with positive behaviours consistently acknowledged and celebrated. Students are increasingly able to identify and demonstrate our values, helping to create a positive and supportive learning environment for all.
This week, we celebrated another group of students at assembly who were randomly selected from the acknowledgement draw. It has been fantastic to see students proudly displaying our values in classrooms, the playground and around the school community.
Over the past two weeks, staff have issued an incredible 542 acknowledgements—our highest total yet. More importantly than the number itself, these acknowledgements provide opportunities for staff to recognise and celebrate specific behaviours, helping students understand what success looks like while strengthening positive relationships across the school.
Thank you to our students for the enthusiasm they continue to show towards the program and to our staff for consistently recognising and celebrating positive behaviours. We look forward to seeing the number of acknowledgements continue to grow throughout the term.
