What's Happening

BOOK WEEK REMINDER
Our Book Week celebrations are fast approaching, and we are excited to embrace this year’s theme, “Symphony of Stories.”
Please join us on Monday 24 August in the Hall of Champions for a prompt 9:00 am start to our Book Week celebrations. Please bring a gold coin donation on the day. All donations will go towards supporting the Story Dogs program.
Students are encouraged to get creative and come dressed as their favourite book character. There will be a prize for the best costume in each year level, with prizes given at the final assembly at the end of term.
We also invite families and friends to join us for Shared Reading following the celebration. Please bring along a favourite book to enjoy together until 9:50 am.
We look forward to celebrating a wonderful morning of books, characters and stories with our CPS community!
PSYCHOLOGY SERVICE UPDATE
We are seeking expressions of interest for parent information sessions run by our psychologist Dana.
You can find the Google form here: https://forms.gle/XMZi512PDTGiv5uX6
We are also taking steps to implement a wellbeing and engagement dog program, which would involve visits from Dana’s dog Charlie, who has completed a foundational pet therapy accreditation. Keep your eyes peeled for more information!
BIRTHDAY BOOKS
The following students had a birthday recently and have generously donated a book to our library. (The following donations were from June and were unfortyuantely missed in the earlier newsletters)
