Flying High in Year Five

Year Five participated in a Simultaneous Reading Session in support of the 2026 National Simultaneous Storytime. We read Luna Roo, the Kangaroo Baller by Adam Wallace and Adrian Beck. We loved that the story was about football and, more importantly, about rising to a challenge with courage and determination. We then enjoyed creating our own images of Luna Roo using Zentangle drawing techniques.

This week we reflected on the ways we can show kindness and respect both in the classroom and throughout the school.   This image shows our responses.
