Learning & Teaching

As we come to the end of Semester 2, it is wonderful to reflect on the incredible learning, growth, and achievements of our students. Throughout the semester, students have embraced new challenges, developed their skills across all learning areas, and demonstrated resilience, curiosity, and a commitment to learning.

In Literacy, students have continued to strengthen their reading comprehension, writing, and communication skills through a variety of engaging texts and learning experiences. They have explored different genres, expanded their vocabulary, and developed greater confidence in expressing their ideas both orally and in writing.

In Mathematics, students have built their understanding of key concepts through problem-solving, reasoning, and hands-on learning activities. They have applied a range of strategies to solve complex problems and have shown persistence when tackling new mathematical challenges.

Students have also engaged enthusiastically in Inquiry learning, where they have investigated real-world topics, asked thoughtful questions, and developed their critical thinking skills. Through collaborative learning experiences, they have learned to work effectively with others, share ideas, and take responsibility for their learning.

Across all areas of the curriculum, students have continued to grow as confident and capable learners. They have demonstrated perseverance when faced with challenges, shown increasing responsibility for their learning, and embraced opportunities to collaborate with their peers. We are particularly proud of the way they have supported one another, celebrated each other's successes, and contributed positively to our classroom community.

As the semester concludes, student reports will be available for families to access. Reports provide an opportunity to celebrate the learning, effort, and growth that has occurred throughout the semester. We encourage families to take some time to read through the report with their child, reflect on their achievements, discuss areas of strength, and identify goals for future learning. These conversations help students recognise their progress and take pride in their learning journey.

We would like to thank our students for their hard work and enthusiasm throughout the semester, and our families for their ongoing support and partnership in learning. We wish everyone a safe, happy, and restful break and look forward to another exciting semester of learning ahead.
