Principal's Report

A Message from Julie...

Dear Families,

As we approach the end of Term 2, our staff have been working diligently to prepare Semester One student reports. This is a significant undertaking, with teachers investing many hours in carefully reviewing assessment evidence gathered throughout the semester to provide an accurate picture of each student's progress and achievement.

Our reports are designed to give families meaningful feedback on their child's learning journey, highlighting strengths, areas for growth, and achievements across all curriculum areas. We encourage parents and carers to take the time to read and discuss the report with their child, celebrating successes and setting goals for the semester ahead.

This semester, reports will also include information relating to student attendance. Regular school attendance plays a vital role in student success, not only academically but also in supporting social and emotional development. Every day at school provides valuable opportunities for learning, building relationships, developing resilience, and participating in the life of our school community.

We thank our teachers for their professionalism and dedication in preparing these reports and for their ongoing commitment to supporting every student's growth and wellbeing. We also thank our families for their partnership in ensuring students attend school regularly and are supported to achieve their full potential.

2027 Prep Enrolments

Prep enrolments for 2027 officially closed on 12 June. Due to the significant number of applications received, we have experienced strong demand for places and a waiting list has now been established.

Any current families who have a child eligible to commence Prep in 2027 and have not yet submitted an enrolment application are asked to contact the school office immediately. Remaining places are extremely limited and will be allocated before students are placed on the waiting list.

We thank families for their interest in our school and look forward to welcoming our future Prep students. If you have any questions regarding enrolment or the waiting list process, please contact the school office.

School Entry and Child Safety

Thank you to all families for your support and understanding regarding the recent changes to accessing the school grounds. These measures have been implemented with the safety and wellbeing of all students as our highest priority.

We appreciate the positive way our school community has adapted to these changes and the cooperation shown during drop-off and pick-up times. By working together, we can continue to provide a safe and secure environment where all children can learn and thrive.

We understand that changes to established routines can sometimes raise questions or concerns. If you would like to discuss the new arrangements or seek further clarification, please do not hesitate to contact the school office to arrange a time to meet with me. I am always happy to listen to feedback and answer any questions you may have.

Thank you for your ongoing partnership and commitment to supporting the safety of every child in our care.

As we come to the end of another busy and productive term, I would like to thank our students, staff and families for their ongoing support and commitment to our school community.

I wish everyone a safe, restful and enjoyable holiday break. I hope this time provides an opportunity to relax, recharge and spend quality time with family and friends.

We look forward to welcoming students back for Term 3, refreshed and ready for another exciting semester of learning and growth.

Kind regards,

Julie McDougall
