Year 2 Highlight

Future School Design Project

Our Year 2 students recently embarked on an exciting design challenge, imagining what St Joseph's Primary School might look like in the future. Working collaboratively in pairs or small teams, students engaged in a creative design process that involved brainstorming innovative ideas, planning their designs, and constructing detailed 3D models.

Throughout the project, students demonstrated excellent teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills as they shared ideas and made decisions together. Their futuristic school designs featured imaginative learning spaces, sustainable technologies, creative play areas, and innovative solutions to support future learners.

We were incredibly impressed by the students' creativity, enthusiasm, and ability to work together to bring their visions to life. This project provided a wonderful opportunity for students to apply critical and creative thinking skills while exploring what the future of education could look like at St Joseph's.

We are very proud of the effort and imagination our Year 2 students displayed throughout this engaging learning experience, and we are looking forward to displaying the designs in our Art Show next term.
