Mackellar Art Show
Our Stage Band Takes the Stage: Sharing Our Sound with the Community
Last Thursday, our senior stage band, along with our piano and violin soloist, had the honour of performing at Mackellar Primary School’s ‘Annual Art Show’, a highlight event that celebrates creativity in the community. Surrounded by stunning artwork and sculptures, our band took the stage, adding the power of live music to the visual feast.
Led by our dedicated band director, Mr Latomanski, our students gave an inspiring performance that included pieces from a range of genres.
The crowd was captivated as they played, creating an atmosphere that perfectly complemented the artistic displays. Each note and beat seemed to echo the colours and themes of the artwork, making it a unique and immersive experience for everyone in attendance.
The band and solo performers spent weeks rehearsing, perfecting every part of the program. Their hard work and dedication were evident as they performed with passion and skill, showing not only their talent but also the close-knit spirit that defines our school’s music program.
The performance at the art show was a wonderful opportunity to represent our school, share our love for music, and connect with new audiences. We are so proud of our music students involved and grateful to Mackellar Primary School for inviting us to be part of such a special event.
