Victorian Premiers' Reading Challenge
Here at Yarra Road, 3,570 books have been read and entered online.
Many students have written book reviews. Here are a few:
‘The Forests of Silence’ by Emily Rodda
I love this book. I was hesitant at first but found that this book is full of adventure, humour and so much more!
- Charlee R (Year 6)
‘Wings of fire: A Guide to the Dragon World’ by Tui Sutherland.
It is an interesting book that tells us all about every existing dragon in Pyrryha and Pantala. I love it so much and I recommend it to all dragon lovers.
- Sophia S (Year 5)
‘The Hey Jack collection, 2’ by Sally Rippin
This book is about a kid called Jack. He has friends named Billie and more. In this book, he finds a dog and he doesn't know whose dog it is, so the next morning he knocks on all the doors to see if it is anyone’s.
- Jackson S (Year 6)
‘Stars of the NBA’ by Kjartan Atli Kjartansson.
This book is good for NBA lovers it has the new players. PS I think you will like it.
- Thomas W (Year 5)
