Performing Arts

Students have made a fantastic start to Term 4 and have quickly settled into their learning. In the lead-up to our much-loved BPPS Christmas Carols evening, students are not only learning and rehearsing their carols, but are also exploring celebrations from around the world. With such a wonderfully multicultural school community, we have so much to learn from one another.

Through music, movement and shared experiences, students are developing a deeper understanding of the many traditions, cultures and celebrations that make our community so special. Alongside their singing, students are learning dances, exploring simple percussion patterns and developing their timpani skills, bringing energy and excitement to our preparations for the end-of-year celebrations. We look forward to sharing their hard work with our school community at Christmas Carols in the second last week of term - more information about the evening will be sent out as we get closer to the date.
