House Captains - 2026

Alongside our Student Leaders, our House Captains also attended the recent Leadership Conference in the city. This special excursion offered our House Captains a fantastic chance to develop their leadership skills and connect with student leaders from other schools.
During the day, our House Captains explored important leadership qualities like courage, resilience, and setting meaningful goals. The conference emphasised the power of teamwork and encouraged students to step out of their comfort zones to support their peers.
Our House Captains reflected on how they can bring these lessons back to our school, especially when leading sporting events and house activities. They discovered new strategies for motivating others, solving challenges together, and making a positive impact in the school community. We are delighted to see our House Captains inspired and ready to lead with enthusiasm and courage!
They have some reflections on their excursion which we would like to share.
Adrian: "I enjoyed the excursion, it was a fun experience. It was a good opportunity to see about people and the celebrities".
Mansur: "In the student leader excursion I enjoyed going to the city with my other friends. I learned about famous people's back stories such as the live action Moana. I really enjoyed it".
Archer: "We met some famous people, we got badges, and when we got there we got photos. I learnt to never giv up".
Chris: " I enjoyed when the live action Moana was talking about when she accidentally slapped The Rock".
Mia V: Last week at the excursion, we saw many amazing people. there were lots of brave people who talked in front of everybody. We met the live actor from Moana, and somebody who won the world's hardest race! We learnt how to speak in front of big crowds and how to be a true leader. It was very fun despite being the only girl there, lol".
