Student Leaders - 2026

Last week our Student Leaders and House Captains went to the Adelaide Convention Centre for a student leadership conference.
The day was filled with inspiring moments as our students listened to a range of amazing guest speakers, each sharing their own experiences about what it means to be a great leader. We heard from Luke Springer (AKA Mr Luke); Catherin Laga'aia (star of the upcoming live action Moana movie); Aaron Crook (ultra-marathon athlete); and Sarah Allen (Crows AFLW Co-captain). The presenters spoke passionately about the importance of facing challenges, building resilience, making thoughtful plans, and following their dreams with confidence.
Our students learnt that leadership is not just about having a title, but about making positive choices, working as a team, and encouraging others. Everyone returned to school feeling motivated and ready to share their new ideas and skills with the wider school community. We are very proud of our Student Leaders and house Captains for representing our school so well. They have written some reflections on the day, which they would love to share.
Sharun: "We got to take pictures witht he celebrities and we learnt things like how to be a good leader".
Navaneeth: We met famous people and took pictures with them. I enjoyed watching their speeches. I learned to never give up".
