Biderap - Senior Girls

Welcome back to Term 4! It’s a special time of year here at MITS as we transition from Poorneet (tadpole season) to Buarth Gurru (grass-flowering season).

As the weather warms up, we celebrate the achievements of our students while also preparing to farewell our wonderful Year 12s.

The house has had a busy and exciting four weeks, with the senior girls achieving excellent school attendance — a fantastic effort!

Weekend activities have included beach cruises, shopping trips to Melbourne Central, visits to local festivals and markets, and plenty of basketball games.

The girls also enjoyed the fabulous MITS Gala and showed their support for Laelani and Cata as they took to the field to play rugby at the Harmony Cup. It has been wonderful to see the girls staying active, enjoying new experiences and supporting one another throughout the term!

Here at Biderap, we’re also getting ready for some spooky Halloween fun! The girls are looking forward to a range of festive activities, including Halloween crafts, no-bake treats, karaoke, movie nights, pumpkin carving and games. Over the long weekend, the girls will also have the opportunity to dress up in their Halloween costumes and head out for some trick-or-treating.

Our graduating students have enjoyed a range of special events, including graduation presentations, the Valedictorian Mass and celebration dinners with their families and MITS staff who were fortunate enough to attend.

We couldn’t be prouder of our graduating Year 12s - Casey, Ella, Katelyn, Keira, Lailani, Lulu, Rosie and Tenielle. We congratulate each of them on reaching this important milestone and wish them every success and happiness as they embark on the next chapter of their journeys.

Congratulations, Year 12s! You will be greatly missed at MITS.
