It is hard to believe that we are already approaching the end of Term 2!
On Springvale Campus we are delighted to host three pre-service this term from the University of Melbourne and Monash University. They will be working alongside our staff and students, gaining valuable classroom experience while contributing fresh ideas and enthusiasm to our school community. We look forward to supporting them on their teaching journey and hope they enjoy their time with us.
Our teachers are currently finalising Semester One reports, which provide a snapshot of each student's progress and achievements across the first half of the year. Reports will be available on Compass from Monday 22 June, and we encourage families to take the opportunity to celebrate successes and discuss learning goals with their children. Parent-Teacher Interviews will then be held on Wednesday 24 June, providing a valuable opportunity for families and teachers to work together in supporting student learning and wellbeing. We look forward to sharing each child's progress and discussing their next steps for learning.
It has been an exciting time for our students, with both our youngest and oldest learners enjoying memorable experiences beyond the classroom. Our FLC students recently attended their very first school excursion to Twisted Science, where they explored hands-on activities, participated in exciting experiments and developed their curiosity about the world around them. Meanwhile, our SLC students spent three fantastic days at Golden Valleys Adventure Resort, embracing challenges, building resilience and strengthening friendships through a range of adventure activities. We are incredibly proud of all our students for the enthusiasm, confidence, teamwork and positive attitudes they demonstrated and would like to extend our sincere thanks to the staff who made these valuable learning experiences possible.
We look forward to finishing the semester strongly and celebrating all that has been achieved.
