Only 5 weeks to go until the School Production of The Lion King on Tuesday 25th of August. The show times are 9.30am and 4pm. We are so excited to show you all we have been working on. Don’t forget we are holding a special raffle for only $1 a ticket. The lucky winner gets a family movie experience (4 x tickets, 4 x drinks, 4 x popcorn, 4 x chocolate treats) plus a Simba pop figure. All money raised goes back into Performing Arts for future productions. The winner will be announced at the conclusion of the second show.

Students in grades prep, one and two should be busy organising costumes for the show. They need to come dressed as an animal found on the Savannah such as lion, cheetah, elephant, giraffe, zebra, etc. This could be a costume you borrow, buy or make. Some examples are below:

*Zebra: white t-shirt with painted stripes, headband with ears and wool

*Giraffe: orange patterned material with elastic as skirt, material tail, headband with ears and wool

*Lion- full all in one suit bought from a costume store

Backstage helpers, dance crew and music crew need to come dressed in black clothing. Cast members need to come in black pants/ leggings and will be given tops and character hats to wear.
