The calibre of the students who participated in the leadership interviews was truly inspiring. Each young woman brought a strong sense of purpose, thoughtful ideas and a genuine desire to contribute to the life of our College. What stood out most was not simply their confidence or their ability to articulate their ideas, but the depth of character, maturity and commitment they demonstrated throughout the process.

Our Senior Student Leaders have an important role to play. Leadership at Caroline Chisholm College is not about a title or position; it is about service, influence and example. These young women will have the opportunity to shape the culture of our College, to listen to and advocate for their peers, to encourage participation and belonging, and to help create an environment in which every young woman feels valued and empowered to flourish.

I am particularly excited about what this group will bring to our College in 2027. Their interviews provided a wonderful insight into the energy, ideas and vision they hold for our school. The standard demonstrated gives us every reason to be confident that our 2027 leaders will make a meaningful and lasting contribution to our community.

As Senior Student Leaders, they will also carry the responsibility of being visible representatives of the values that underpin who we are as a College. I look forward to seeing them lead with tolerance, with courage and with faith — embracing difference, standing up for what is right, and allowing their faith to guide the way they serve others.

To our incoming 2027 Senior Student Leadership Team, I congratulate you. I encourage you to embrace this opportunity with humility, courage and enthusiasm. Lead not by being above others, but by walking alongside them. Listen carefully, act with integrity, and remember that some of the most powerful acts of leadership are often the quietest.

I have great confidence in this group of young women and look forward to seeing the mark they will make on Caroline Chisholm College in 2027. Your leadership journey begins now, and I cannot wait to see where it takes you.
