Year 1 Highlight

This term, the Year 1 students have loved becoming Science Detectives as part of our DBL learning. Through fun, hands-on investigations, they have worked together to solve different challenges, including helping "Fred" stay dry in the rain and discovering the best materials to keep ice cold. Students made predictions, tested a variety of materials and shared their observations with their classmates. 

It has been wonderful to see their curiosity, teamwork and problem-solving skills grow as they explore how and why different materials are better suited for different purposes. We have had so much fun learning through investigation and discovery!
