In what was incredible evening for all that attended, where we were able to celebrate the academic success of our Year 12 students, and reflect upon their time at Westall. We take this moment to acknowledge not only their individual accomplishments but also the friendships and teamwork that defined their journey. The Class of 2024 is a testament to the strength of collaboration, determination, and the enduring spirit of our school iCare values. To our graduates: As you step into the next phase of your lives, be it further studies, work, or personal ventures, remember that you are equipped with the skills and experiences to achieve great things. Stay curious, courageous, and compassionate as you pursue your dreams. We extend our heartfelt thanks to the teachers, staff, and families who have supported our graduates every step of the way. Your guidance and encouragement have been instrumental in their success.
As 2025 looms ahead I would like to publicly thank Ms. Helen Ifandis and Ms. Annie Papagiannopoulos for their hard work and care in leading the staff and students with senior sub-school in 2024, as they both led the senior sub-school at different times of the year as Director of Learning. As they step into new leadership roles in 2025 at Westall, I wish them all the very best for 2025. Its is at this time that I would also like to welcome our new Director of Learning, Mr. Denholm Pickering, who joins us from Sandringham Secondary College. An experienced school leader and VCE teacher, we are looking forward to Denholm leading the senior sub-school in 2025 and for the years ahead.
To our 2025 senior students, new challenges, and experiences both in and out of the classroom are ahead of you. Make sure that you have a restful break and ensure that you have in place all textbooks and resources needed to commence the year efficiently. Reflecting on HeadStart make sure that all holiday homework is complete and that you are re-energized and ready to put your best foot forward in 2025 which is shaping to be another great year!
