School Captains' Address

Dear JMSS Community, 

Term 1 has been a remarkable start to the year, brimming with energy and engagement. The Club Expo was a highlight, with over 20 student-led clubs offering opportunities for exploration, creativity, and connection. The enthusiasm and participation from students underscored the vibrant spirit that defines our school community.

Year 12 students embraced the challenges of the Year 12 Camp, forging stronger friendships and demonstrating resilience and leadership. The experiences shared and lessons learned will resonate throughout the year and shape the cohort’s final year at JMSS.

The Swimming Carnival showcased determination, teamwork, and house pride. Students competed with energy and commitment, creating an atmosphere of camaraderie and celebration.

Looking ahead, the Year 12 Formal on the 25th of March promises an elegant and memorable evening that celebrates achievement and community. International Women’s Day on the 5th of March will provide inspiration, recognising the accomplishments of women within our school and beyond. The World’s Greatest Shave will offer an opportunity for unity and purpose, as we come together to support a meaningful cause.
