On 13th June students represented the College at EMR Cross Country. The Students braved the cold conditions and represented the College at a high standard. 

Congratulations to our Under 13 girls who came third overall as a Team in the 3km race

Chole G won the Under 13 girls 3 km division and progressed through to State Cross Country and competed on 18th July with huge success winning the under 12/13 girls age group. 

 

 

Heathmont College has a STATE CHAMPION Congratulations to Chloe Grund on winning the Girls 12-13 Secondary 3km race at State Cross Country Championships Thursday 18th July. Chloe led all race to win with an outstanding time of 12:38 on a very muddy course at Yarra Glen Racecourse. Chole has now qualified to compete at All Schools. Go Chloe and go Heathmont!

 

Chloe then backed up her superb race at State to run in the All Schools Cross Country where she finished 2nd. Kristina N also ran and finished in the top 45. Huge effort by both students. 

 

Intermediate Term 3 sports was held on Monday 22nd July. We had teams competing in Basketball, Hockey and Table Tennis. All teams competed well and had fun on the day participating in their last Inter School sports for the year. 

 

Intermediate boys/mixed Hockey has progressed through to EMR in October. They were coached by superstar Mr Hunter who also put on his ref shirt and assisted refereeing throughout the day. 

 

Inter and Senior Girls AFL headed out to Elgar Reserve on Monday 22nd July. The team was also grateful for some juniors Maya J and Sienna Y that also put up their hands to help boost the team numbers. The girls competed so well and held their own all day.

COLLEGE ATHLETICS 

 

College Athletics is locked in for Monday 2nd September. Start warming up those up arms and legs and dragging out your house colour uniform. 

The day is a lot of fun and the students really get around and embrace the day.
