Retaining Wall Upgrade

Over the last school holidays, works were completed to replace the existing timber retaining wall along our basketball courts - approximately 60 metres long! The upgrade was paid for by money raised from the last two "colour explosions" and the hard work from our school community.

The new retaining is now made from mudstone to replace the old timber one.  Some of the benefits of mudstone include:

1, More aesthetic

2. Ties into existing landscaping more effectively.

3. More resistant to damage/graffiti

4. Will not be needed to be maintained

5. Will not be needed to be replaced (unlike timber)

More importantly, the wall is perfect for students to sit along!
