Mamma Mia

After over 6 months of rehearsals and a year of preparation, our college production of Mamma Mia! opened. After performing our matinee for Mitcham Primary School students, we ran three successful, jam-packed, active, and thoroughly enjoyable shows from the 7th to 9th of August. For most cast members, this was our first full-scale production, and our excitement was palpable – you should’ve seen us backstage! For our student crew, the experience was, I can imagine, hilariously fun – you should’ve seen them backstage! This amazing experience would not, of course, have been possible without our director, Bec, Mr. Moustafa, Mr. Brodie, Ms. Baldry, Mr. McMillin, Peter, Mark, Tiarne, Sophie, KayLi, and Tynan our alumni backstage directors, the backstage crew, Jenny and Eliza our alumni make-up artists, and all members of the Mullauna community that helped with costumes, set design, food, transportation and the like. A special shout-out also to the Parents and Community Association for the Mamma Mia! café and all your support. I am sure that I speak for everyone when I say this production was an incredible feat, will be an unforgettable experience that we will cherish forever, and was so fun that we miss it already!
