Junior School -
Year 7 and 8
Our Year 7 students recently participated in the Speak & Share program, an initiative with a powerful mission: to influence community culture and educate on mental health strategies so that no one in Australia should suffer the devastating impacts of mental health alone.
During the session, students engaged deeply with the program, exploring their personal values and identity while learning practical ways to support their own mental health and wellbeing. It was inspiring to see them reflect on who they are, and how they can grow into resilient, confident young people. By participating so openly, they showed respect for both themselves and their peers and strengthened their connections within the year level.
This term, we welcomed Grade 5 students from local primary schools to spend time at KWRSC for their Experience Days. Seeing the excitement as they explored what secondary school has to offer was wonderful. These will continue into next Term, and we are looking forward to growing our connection with the future students who will be joining our community.
A huge congratulations to our Year 8 Boys Netball team and our Year 7 Girls Netball team, who proudly represented KWRSC as state finalists. This is an outstanding achievement and a reflection of the hard work, commitment, and teamwork of our students.
We would also like to thank the parents and supporters who joined us throughout these events. Your encouragement from the sidelines means so much to our students, and your presence reflects the strength of our school community.
