News from the School Leaders

Book Week: On Thursday we had our book week parade with all of the school dressed up as their favourite book characters in all kinds of costumes. The kindergarten children came to the parade dressed up in their amazing costumes. All the costumes from prep to six were fabulous and were well designed. We can’t wait till next year to see what our creative students dress up as.
The Grade 5/6 classes are looking to participate in the Division Hot Shot Tennis Competition in Term 4. We have had trials and are in the process of selecting a team.
As usual, the younger children have taken part in Net Set Go and Auskick, along with a few girls doing Girl Guides. Net Set Go has now finished with the students going away with many newly developed netball skills.
Holly has again taken part in gymnastics and Eva has taken part in acro dance, a cross between dance and gymnastics.
And despite the not so good weather we’ve had recently, that still doesn’t faze some young kids doing swim training.
A change of scene, however, for the Lofts family going skiing at Mt. Hotham last week. They have gone every year, with Nate being three when he first went. Eva said that her highlight is going up in the chair lift, but Nate just loves everything.
