Biggest Morning Tea

On Thursday 18 June, Mrs Trish Pearce and the Stage 5 Food Technology students did an outstanding job hosting the Biggest Morning Tea for staff. The event was a great success, with students putting in a huge effort behind the scenes to prepare and present a wide variety of homemade sweet and savoury treats. Staff were treated to a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and it was clear how much planning, teamwork and creativity had gone into making the morning run so smoothly.

It was fantastic to see the students take pride in their work and come together for such a worthy cause. Opportunities like this not only showcase their practical skills in Food Technology, but also help build confidence, teamwork and a sense of community within the school.

Thanks to the generosity of our school community, more than $2,900 was raised in support of the Cancer Council. This is an excellent result and will make a meaningful difference to an important cause.
