Mrs Kathy Fletcher - Deputy Principal, Senior School
As we come to the end of Term 2, it is important to acknowledge the breadth of events and activities that have taken place across our Senior School. Schools are such lively and engaging places, and Trinity is no exception. Beyond the day-to-day learning in classrooms, our students are enriched by a holistic program that supports their growth, interests, and overall experience as young people.
Earlier this week, our Performing Arts Showcase was a true celebration of talent, creativity, and courage. Congratulations to all our performers who took to the stage. You represented our College with pride and showcased the depth of ability within our performing arts programs. Thank you also to the staff who supported and guided students in bringing the event together.
I would also like to acknowledge our Stage 5 Food Technology classes who played a key role in catering for the Biggest Morning Tea for staff on Thursday 18 June. What an incredible effort! The spread was truly next level; beautifully presented and thoroughly enjoyed by all. Your skills, teamwork, and pride in your work were evident, and you should be very proud of your contribution to this important community event.
Another highlight this term has been the Year 9 Personal Best Projects. I had the pleasure of seeing an amazing array of skills and passions on display - from music to sport, robotics, and so much more in between. It was inspiring to see students challenge themselves, pursue their interests, and share their learning so confidently. Well done to all Year 9 students for your commitment and creativity.

Semester 1 reports for students in Years 7–10 were released yesterday. These can be accessed by parents via SEQTA Engage. Should you have any questions regarding your child’s report, please contact the College office during the break and we will ensure your enquiry is directed appropriately.
As we look ahead, our Year 12 students are now entering their final term of schooling, an important and significant chapter in their journey. This term will be filled with key milestones, events, and opportunities to celebrate their time at the College. We encourage families to carefully read the information provided in this document, Year 12 Events, outlining these upcoming events and important dates.
Finally, as the term draws to a close, I would like to thank students, staff, and families for their ongoing commitment and support. I wish everyone a restful, relaxing, and refreshing term break. We look forward to welcoming you all back next term, ready for another season of learning, growth, and achievement.
Congratulations to Amelia Evans and Kimmi Kaur on being elected as the 2026 Albury Youth Mayor and Deputy Youth Mayor.
The pair were elected by their fellow Youth Councillors following a leadership vote, marking an exciting milestone in their commitment to making a positive difference for young people across the Albury community.
Now in her third year on the Youth Council, Amelia is passionate about ensuring every councillor has the opportunity to contribute and have their voice heard. Kimmi, who joined the Youth Council alongside Amelia after discovering the opportunity at school, is looking forward to working with the team to support meaningful projects and create positive outcomes for local young people.
We are also delighted to see fellow Trinity student Talal Syed serving on the 2026 Youth Council, joining a team of young leaders who are helping to shape opportunities and initiatives for young people across our community.
These roles are a testament to Amelia, Kimmi and Talal's dedication, initiative and commitment to making a positive difference. Through the Youth Council, they will represent the voices of local young people, contribute to important community projects and help bring new ideas to life across Albury.
We know they will all serve with enthusiasm, integrity and purpose, and we look forward to seeing the impact they make in the year ahead.
Congratulations, Amelia, Kimmi and Talal on this outstanding achievement!

Some enthusiastic taste testers had the opportunity to sample a range of pies created by our Year 12 Food Technology students as part of their assessment task.
From savoury favourites such as curry chicken and beef pie to sweet classics like apple pie and a gluten-free berry pie, there was something for everyone to enjoy. Testers completed sensory reviews and provided valuable feedback to support the students' learning.
A huge thank you to Mrs Pearce and our talented Year 12 Food Technology class for sharing your creations. The pies were fantastic, and our taste testers were certainly spoilt for choice!
