Six Trinity students will proudly represent the school at the CIS Cross Country Championships in Sydney on 25 June, after producing outstanding performances throughout the representative pathway.
Chloe Maddern, Heidi McDonnell, Ollie McMillan, Ahmed Siddiqui, Lily Wright, and Taylor Wright have earned their place among the state's best school-aged distance runners and will compete against the top athletes from across New South Wales.
Lily Wright was our most successful runner on the day finishing her age group in 4th overall, running 4km in a time of 14:10 which is only 5 seconds off the podium and 55 seconds off the winner of the event. Lily will now represent NSW at the School Sports Australia Nationals Event.
Qualifying for CIS is a significant achievement and reflects the dedication, resilience, and commitment each student has shown throughout their training and racing this season. The Trinity community wishes all six competitors the very best as they take on this next challenge and represent both the school and the Riverina with pride.

Our Open Girls Basketball team travelled to the Hills District this week to compete at the NSW State Championships, earning their place at the event following a dominant performance at the regional tournament in Wagga Wagga earlier this month.
Facing some of the strongest school basketball programs from both metropolitan and country areas, including schools from Manly and Coffs Harbour, the girls were challenged from the outset. Drawn into what proved to be one of the toughest pools in the competition, the team played with determination, resilience, and skill throughout the tournament.
Coached by Imogen Arcus and Veronica Kimball, the girls produced some outstanding basketball and finished third in their pool, narrowly missing out on progressing to the crossover finals. While their championship campaign ended there, it remains a tremendous achievement to be ranked among the state's leading school teams.
Coach Imogen Arcus highlighted Lily Wright and Lucy Hocking as standout performers across the tournament, recognising their consistent effort, leadership, and impact on the court.
Congratulations to the entire team on representing Trinity at the highest level of school basketball competition in NSW.

Season one has been largely successful seeing 30 Trinity teams competition in the local Albury Basketball Domestic Competition. A large number of our teams have qualified for finals, Congratulations to the following teams and their volunteer coaches who have made Trinity Basketball possible!

Season 1 of the Albury Indoor Netball Association competition still has several weeks remaining, and we would like to congratulate all of our players, coaches, and families on a fantastic season so far. It has been particularly pleasing to see so many first-time players and coaches embrace the challenge and contribute to the growth of the club.
This season, Trinity proudly entered eight teams into the local competition, including our inaugural Year 1 team. The club has undergone a period of transition throughout the semester, and we extend our sincere thanks to outgoing committee members Libby Star and Louise Clark for their dedication and service to the club.
A key part of our continued success has been the contribution of our Development Coach, Macy Clark, who has been running player development sessions across the season while also coaching the U13 Sapphires. Macy, along with our outstanding group of volunteer coaches, has played a significant role in creating a positive, supportive, and thriving environment for our players.
Season 2 will commence on 25 July, and we are always looking to welcome new players and families to the club. Whether you are an experienced netballer or looking to try the sport for the first time, we would love to hear from you.
