Parents are invited to join our webinar with sexuality nurse, educator and award-winning author Vanessa Hamilton. Vanessa is the founder of the Talking the Talk sexuality education platform, which provides age-appropriate learning for students through lessons delivered by classroom teachers.

 

This informative parent session will explore a range of topics that support children and young people as they grow including:

 

Introduction to the following evidence-based topics:

  • Basics of Human Sexuality through the life cycle
  • Typically expected childhood sexuality development  and behaviour ages 5 - 17yo
  • Scaffolded knowledge requirements of children at each age and stage
  • Protective Safety/Exposure to online sexual content
  • Relevant research regarding the sexual health,  safety and well-being of children
  • What every adult must know  about the new statistics  of child sexual abuse
