Leadership Communication

A big, joy filled thank you to all our mums and to every special person who fulfils that role in the lives of our children.  

Thank you for coming to school today if you were able to, for celebrating with us, for visiting classrooms, and for taking a moment to enjoy a sweet treat with your child. Your presence lights up our school and reminds our learners just how deeply they are loved.

Today we hold in prayer all the mother figures in our community. We pray that they continue to be strong, wise, gentle and brave. We pray that they reach out for help when they need it and feel supported by the people around them.

We also hold close those for whom today carries a quieter or heavier story. We pray for those waiting and hoping to become mums. We pray for those who have lost a child. We pray for those who have lost their own mums. We pray for those who step into the role of mothering in unexpected ways. We pray for those who find today tender, complicated or bittersweet.

May each of you feel wrapped in love, honoured for the care you give, and reminded that our community walks with you.
