ART MOVEMENT

YEAR 8 STUDENTS EXPLORE ART THROUGH MOVEMENT

Our Year 8 Art students have been exploring the exciting concept of Art Movement, learning about the different styles, techniques and ideas that have shaped art throughout history.

As part of their studies, students investigated a range of influential art movements and then applied their understanding to create their own artworks inspired by these styles. The creativity, effort and imagination demonstrated by our students has been outstanding.

We have been particularly impressed by the high quality of work produced. Many students have shown exceptional artistic skill and a keen eye for detail, while others have embraced the opportunity to experiment with new techniques and express their unique ideas.

The classroom has been filled with colour, creativity and enthusiasm, and it has been wonderful to see students grow in confidence as artists. We are proud of the dedication and talent displayed by our Year 8s and look forward to seeing their artistic journeys continue.
