THE VILLAGE

The Village: Supporting
As another busy term comes to an end, we want to say a big thank you to our students, families and staff for their support and contribution throughout the term.
There has been plenty happening across KSC, and we hope everyone can take some time over the break to rest, recharge and enjoy a well-earned holiday.
A Special Shout Out to Our Unit 3 and 4 Students
While many of us are looking forward to switching off over the holidays, we know that the break looks a little different for our students completing Units 3 and 4.
With exams getting closer, many of these students will be balancing some well-earned rest with revision and exam preparation. We wish them all the best with their study over the break and encourage them to look after themselves along the way.
Study is important, but so are sleep, exercise, time with friends and family, and taking genuine breaks. Sometimes stepping away from the books for a while is exactly what is needed to come back refreshed and ready to go again.
Looking After Yourself Over the Break
For all of our students, the holidays are a great opportunity to slow down, recharge and spend some time doing the things you enjoy.
It is also important to remember that support remains available even when school isn't open. If you or someone you know needs some extra support over the holidays, the following services are available:
Kids Helpline – 1800 55 1800: Free, confidential 24/7 support for young people aged 5–25.
Lifeline – 13 11 14: 24/7 crisis support by phone, text or online chat.
Beyond Blue – 1300 22 4636: Free mental health support and counselling available 24/7.
eheadspace – 1800 650 890: Free and confidential online and phone mental health support for young people aged 12–25.
Emergency support – 000: If you or somebody else is in immediate danger, call Triple Zero.
Have a Great Break
Thank you again to everyone who has contributed to another positive term at KSC.
We hope our students, families and staff have the opportunity to rest, recharge and enjoy some time together over the holidays. To our Unit 3 and 4 students – good luck with the study, look after yourselves, and remember to make some time for a break as well!
We look forward to seeing everyone back next term.
