NAPLAN & Wellbeing
Students in Grades 3 and 5 have been undertaking NAPLAN assessments this week. While NAPLAN is just one assessment that measures performance on a single day and does not capture important qualities such as kindness, respect, empathy and gratitude, it can still provide a valuable opportunity for students to build resilience; especially when things do not go to plan. This was certainly the case on Wednesday when the NAPLAN servers went down!
In TRP lessons, our Grade 5 students have been exploring strategies to support positive emotions, reduce stress and improve overall well being. One activity involved recalling happy memories. Students wrote these down and shared them on our TRP display, creating a wonderful reminder of the positive moments in their lives.

Grade 5 Joke Corner
