Camouflage and Creativity in Year 4

Year 4 students have been enjoying reading The Wild Robot while learning about how animals survive in the wild. One of the concepts we explored was camouflage.

Students discovered how animals blend into their surroundings to stay safe from predators. To apply their learning, students designed their own Roz robot and used camouflage to hide it somewhere in the classroom. It was lots of fun trying to find the cleverly hidden robots!

We also explored creativity through art by creating zentangle name designs. Students used patterns and shapes to decorate their names, creating colourful artwork that is now proudly displayed in our classroom.
