As Year 12 have completed their Trial HSC exams, students are in their final stages of choosing post school options. We have had a huge number of Early Admission applications with over 80 students applying to UOW. The majority of universities and tertiary institutions have also held their Open Days with some universities open in the coming weeks. I have included these dates in this newsletter.
We have continued our THRIVE theme, with UNSW and University of Sydney attending a session last week. Year 11 heard the latest updates for university entry, scholarship applications and changes to courses. Other students were inspired by a presentation from a group of Year 12 students, who spoke of their own HSC journey and how to achieve results in the Higher School Certificate.
With deadlines fast approaching, Year 12 students need to be aware of the following key dates for university applications:
30 September - Early Bird Deadline - Significant increase to application fee after this date 21 November - Educational Access Scheme (EAS) application and documentation deadline 18 December - ATARs released 23 December - UAC Offers released |
