IDAHOBIT Day

IDAHOBIT Day May 17th 2025
Saturday 17th May was IDAHOBIT Day – the International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia, Intersexism and Transphobia. The Wellbeing team hosted a celebration lunch creating a safe space for our school LGBTQI community and ally’s on the Monday 19th May during first break.
Students enjoyed a vibrant and uplifting morning tea, featuring a selection of fresh fruit, cheese, crackers, dip, and popcorn. The atmosphere was made even more enjoyable with great music playing throughout, adding to the positive energy of the day.
A chalk drawing activity provided a creative outlet, with many students getting involved and producing some fantastic and colourful designs. Overall, it was a fun and engaging event that brought students together and left everyone with smiles on their faces.
