VPC Baking 

SBAT (School Based Apprenticeship and Traineeship)

Last week, the students had the privilege of cooking alongside Sal and Yoko, two professional chefs with over 20 years of industry experience.

 

Together, they prepared marinated chicken rolls, banana bread, and a pasta bake. They also learned how to make and preserve apple and berry jam.

Each week, students carefully package their meals, which are then donated to organisations such as Food Bank and others that support individuals and families in need.

This initiative instills a deep sense of pride in the students, knowing that the food they prepare is making a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
