Swimming Trials - Yr 4 to 6

St Helena’s swimming trials will be taking place before school at Ellenbrook Stateswim on Thursday 5th March from 7:00am - 7:50am.

St Helena’s will enter a swimming team in the Interschool Sports Program.Please note it is NOT a compulsory event. Your child may only attend the swimming trials if they can competently swim 50m in the following stroke/s: 

· Freestyle 

· Backstroke 

· Breaststroke and/or Butterfly.

If your child is successful in making the team they will compete at the interschool swimming carnival during Term 2. There will be further training sessions towards the end of Term 1.

Students will need to bring the following to the pool:

• Goggles and towel (all clearly named) and

• School uniform to change into before school.

• Breakfast snack after swimming trials completed.

   

Parents/Caregivers will need to transport their child to and from the venue and that any medication or medical intervention needed during the swimming trials will remain parents/caregivers responsibility as parent.

Email correspondence and a link to the form has bee sent out to the Year 4 to Year 6 families today.
