Lunar New Year

Our Year 6 Cultural Perspectives and Identity Ministry proudly hosted their first cultural event of the year, celebrating Lunar New Year and the rich diversity within our school community. During lunchtime activities, students explored the traditions, symbols and stories connected to Lunar New Year, embracing the many cultures within our school that recognise this special celebration. 

It was wonderful to see our Year 6 leaders take initiative - organising the activities, leading discussions and helping others learn about the importance of cultural understanding and respect. Their enthusiasm and teamwork made the event a great success, and we look forward to more opportunities to honour and celebrate the cultural traditions that make our school such a vibrant and inclusive community.
