Welcome back Foundation families.  

Can you believe that your child is almost in Grade 1?  

We had a very settled start back to school, albeit with a few tired students adjusting to daylight savings.  

Reminders:  

Hats are required in Term 4 – please label your child’s hat. 

Readers – we are still changing these on Monday’s. 

Grade Foundation Liturgy Wednesday 29th October at 9:30. 

The Foundation swimming program started and went well yesterday and today. Can you please label ALL of your child's clothes, shoes and swimming equipment. Below is a reminder of the timetable. 

In the classroom: 

In Religion, we are looking at the Unit ‘We Are Special, So Are You’. Highlighting how everyone is unique and special in their own way. 

In Mathematics, we are looking at collecting and sorting Data and what questions we can ask about it. 

In Literacy, we continue to work on revising and adding to the sounds we know. It is so evident now to see how far the students have come, reading and writing with independence and confidence. It is certainly going to be a great Term.
