Welcome back to our final term of the year!
It’s hard to believe how quickly the year has flown by.
We have an exciting and busy term ahead filled with learning and fun experiences.
Last Friday, the children had a fantastic time at the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra. It was a wonderful morning of music and being entertained by some very clever musicians, and the students were so engaged throughout the performance.
A few reminders as we start the term: Hats are on!
Please ensure your child brings a hat to school each day for outdoor play and activities. Please also make sure hats are clearly labelled.
Swimming program takes place in Week 3.
Please ensure permission notes have been signed.
Readers- Please remember our reader change days are on a Monday and Wednesday.
Grade 1 Liturgy will be held at 9:30am on Monday 20th October.
In the classroom:
In Religion, we are exploring our new unit, Our Call to Mission, learning about how we can make a positive difference in our world.
In Writing, we are focusing on imaginative writing, creating stories that let students use their creativity and descriptive language skills.
In Mathematics, we completed our unit on Data and it's been a big hit!
The children are enjoying collecting and graphing data and conducting surveys with their classmates. We start Location this week.
It’s shaping up to be a wonderful Term 4 full of learning, creativity, and fun!
