From Your P&F

Hi parents and carers, our next P&F meeting is coming up soon. This year’s committee is looking forward to a strong turnout and building excitement around upcoming events, including the Walkathon.

Please see the notice of meeting below and mark it in your calendar. If you can’t make it in person, please consider attending via Teams. A link will be available closer to the meeting date.

Sports Canteens – Round 7, Saturday 13 June 2026

A heartfelt thank you to the parent volunteers who did a tremendous job last Saturday, staffing the Flats canteen until midday and the Grandstand until half-time in the Firsts game. Your generosity ensured families and supporters were well looked after across a busy day.

This Saturday is a Super Saturday at home against Padua and is shaping as the biggest home round of the season. With the First XV able to secure the outright premiership with a win, there will be plenty of excitement around the grounds and strong support across the College.

With the boys playing and staying, both canteens are expected to be busy from the early matches through to the feature games. As the final round of the semester, this is a great opportunity to share in the Marist spirit by volunteering alongside fellow parents for the good of the boys and the school.

Please consider signing up for a shift using the links below. Students can also volunteer, and every contribution helps keep the canteens running smoothly and finish the semester strongly.

Mates Program – Student Volunteers

Students can also volunteer in the sports canteens:

  • Years 11–12: may volunteer independently.
  • Years 5–10: must volunteer with a parent or guardian.
  • Counter service only (no grills or deep fryers).
  • Students must wear their school uniform.

At the end of their shift, students should register their hours using the QR code available in each canteen.

Notice of Meeting

NOTICE OF GENERAL MEETING of the Marist College Ashgrove Parents and Friends Association

MONDAY 20 July 2026 at 6pm

Location: The Tower Building

Requests for agenda items can be sent to the P&F Secretary. We ask if these can be submitted by Monday 6 July 2026 to allow for adequate preparation.

We appreciate that Monday evenings are often busy; however, attendance at previous meetings has been lower than hoped.

Getting involved with P&F is a wonderful way to foster strong connections with your Marist family across your journey at the College. Our Association enjoys stability through the generosity of many capable hands, carrying jobs of all shapes and sizes. We are sure you would enjoy volunteering through our various activities and sub-committees that all help to make our Marist family the special community that it is.
