With 49 former McKinnon students now McKinnon staff, we’ve started curating a teaching tree to explore which current teachers are now colleagues with their former students.

JESS (LONG) DIXON - CLASS OF 1998

Jess graduated in 1998. She was taught by current staff member Georgina Tsitas and later went on to teach another staff member, Rachel Walker. 

Interestingly, Jess Dixon is also the sister of Dr. Richard Long (Class of 2000), who is currently the Assistant Principal of McKinnon Secondary College.

KELLIE DICKSON - CLASS OF 2002

Kellie graduated in 2002. Her favourite teachers were Georgina Tsitas, who is a current staff member, Jason Jewell, and Peter Thompson. 

Kellie is now a colleague of several of her former students, including Riley Price, Sarah Mullane, Caitlin Arneil, Imogen Hooper-Duffy, Lee Laskaridis, Jemma Owen, and Bailey Scrivener.
