👟 Welcome Back to 2025 Sports!

Welcome back to another exciting year of sport at St Mary’s College!  With a jam-packed calendar ahead, we all know Term 1 is one of the busiest times of the year, with both our Swimming and Athletics Carnivals taking place alongside various inter-school competitions.  

👟 Whole College Swimming Carnival 

Our Whole College Swimming Carnival will be held on Monday 17th February, at the Seymour Outdoor Pool. Students are encouraged to dress up in their house colours on the day:

•   Padua – Yellow/Gold

•   McAuley – Blue 

Students have been completing their event entries with their teachers in class, and no adjustments will be made after Wednesday 12th February. If any additions or changes need to be made, students must speak with me at school or email me before this date.  

If students are being collected directly from the pool and not returning to school for the usual 3:15 pm dismissal, their parent/guardian must sign them out at the pool gate before leaving. Our administration staff will be on-site to complete this process.

If a student is leaving with another parent/guardian, this MUST be communicated via email to:  office@smseymour.catholic.edu.au by Friday 14th February. 

*** No text messages or phone calls will be accepted on the day.  Any student without prior permission will need to travel back to school with the rest of the college***

👟 Athletics Carnival 

Our Whole College Athletics Carnival is scheduled for Thursday 6th March, at Kings Park. Stay tuned for more details as we get closer to the event!  

👟 Secondary Round Robin 

Later this term, our Secondary Round Robin will take place, with students competing in:

•    Volleyball

•    Cricket

•    Tennis

•    Lawn Bowls 

More details will be shared soon, so keep an eye out for updates!  Celebrating Community Sporting Achievements  If any students have outstanding sporting achievements in the community, we would love to celebrate their success!
